Corrugated carton die cutting technology (below)

Die-cut version design and production

Before making a die-cut version, it is first necessary to understand the object to be die-cut, such as the thickness of the corrugated cardboard, the accuracy requirements, the number of die-cuts, and then determine the molding method, die cutter, indentation line and Sponge glue and other materials.

Flat die-cutting and die-cutting use a wide range of surface, stickers, cardboard, corrugated cardboard and other materials can be used, but in the production of flat die cutter, in order to prevent the corrugated board surface color, burst, should use high-quality sponge rubber The selected indentation line should not be too high or too thin.

Corrugated box round press die cutting

In the past, chamfering grooving machines were mostly used for corrugated carton forming. As the market's requirements for carton accuracy and packaging speeds have increased, die-cutting has become the mainstream of carton production. Compared with the flat die-cutting die, the tooth profile is 12 teeth. After that, the basic tooth profile of the round die-cutting blade has been used. It is widely used in the die-cutting of three-layer and five-layer corrugated cardboard. Die-cut in the circumferential direction.

â–  Thickness: The thickness of the blade commonly used in circular die cutting is 1-42mm, and 1.05mm thick inserts are also used, but relatively few.

â–  Height: The height of the blade in a circular press die cutting is determined according to the thickness of the cardboard. Commonly used heights are 23.80m m, 24.10mm, 24. 38m m, 24.60m m, 25.1 0m m, 25. 40m m, 26.0mm and so on. Generally, the height of a horizontal blade is about 0.5 mm higher than that of a circumferential blade, so as to ensure the bi-directional uniform cutting.

â–  Hardness: The medium hardness blade can meet the round pressure circle

Most of the requirements of die cutting, lateral or head and tail knife can use the blade with higher hardness to enhance the ability to resist the knife, the quenched blade is suitable for the usual die cutting process, the quenched blade is suitable for large quantities Die-cutting. If you choose a non-durable blade, it will lead to incomplete trimming, inaccurate die-cutting dimensions, and shortened pad life. To increase the service life of die cutters, one must select the right insert. On the other hand, when adjusting the die-cutting pressure, it is necessary to have a good grasp of the dimensions so as to cut the cardboard just fine.

Round Roller Drum Die Making

The problems that are easily caused by circular die cutting are dimensional changes, continuous paperboard cutting, poor discharge, and indentation. The appearance of these problems is inseparable from the choice of the type of die-cutting blade, the use of indented steel wire, and the matching of related die-cutting materials. Good round die cutting not only requires good, used blades and sponges, but also has high requirements on the quality and shape of the arc plates and the production of die-cut plates.

When making a die-cut version, generally follow the following procedure:

â–  Understand the true requirements of the user, such as trimming, indentation, pressure, breathability and handling, and then carry out box design or make corrections to the design. When round die cutting, in order to ensure good stripping, pay special attention to the location, shape and size of the groove.

â–  Determine the die cutter and blade. Select the most suitable and economical machine and use the correct height blade.

● Correct the reduction ratio calculation.

â–  Correctly calculate the specifications of the indentation line and bead, the size and amount of the sponge.
â–  During the cutting, bending, and installation of the scribe cutting and inserting, care should be taken not to hit the top of the bridge. The size of the point depends on the type of box. The bottom part of the machete part should be supported, and the part that is prone to hacking should be supported after the test.

It is difficult to make circular round roller cutter die, and it is often encountered when making that the size calculation is not allowed, and the lines are not straight when sawing. Die cutter height, wrong tooth selection, etc. Because the roller die is curved, the die is curved, so the die
