Offset transfer machine JJ204 type plate device

Last year, at the time of the overhaul of this Offset Transfer Machine (Model JJ204), we decided to carry out a technical transformation of its plate cylinder plate printing device. We envisage that the method of fixing the original plate with a half-axis screw would be changed to a more convenient one. Groove insertion plate method to reduce the labor intensity of the printing workers, shorten the plate loading time, improve the printing quality.
Leadership requires double insurance: if the transformation is successful, the new method will be used to install the version. If it is unsuccessful, the old method will be used to ensure that the production will not be affected. That is to say, during the technological transformation, the original machine parts cannot be damaged.
After I accepted this task. First, the investigation and research were repeated on whether the original equipment could be reformed or not. After the investigation, it was considered that the original plate cylinder had "nature insufficiency" and that it would be very difficult to change it into a grooved version, but I was determined to overcome all difficulties and do my best to complete the task.
After several failed trials, I found out the reason: the angle at the mouth was too large, the hook was not secure after the PS plate was inserted, and a 10 mm wide plate was inserted in the groove, not in the same circle as the plate cylinder. Above, we need to reduce the angle, but the intensity is not enough after the angle is reduced. In order to strengthen the strength of the plate, the groove should be milled deeper.
After these reasons were found, the tool holders were restructured and each production process was of good quality. The plate cylinder is processed on the grinding machine together with the plate, and the machine is assembled after the installation. When the printing operator installed the PS plate, the insertion condition was better than the first time, but the plate hooked was not tight enough, and there was still a gap between the plate and the plate surface. Thus, we also milled 2mm into a small 40° angle at the 10mm groove of the plate cylinder, making a tangent line with the inner hole φ38, and the angle of the plate was further reduced to increase the strength. In this way, finally succeeded. Now it has been officially delivered to the printing shop for production and use, and it works well.
