The scientific research project named "Complete technology and equipment for the waste plastics oiling technology" was independently developed by Lanzhou Edwards Industrial Co., Ltd. The results of the project passed the appraisal by the expert group organized by the Science and Technology Department of Gansu Province and refined oil products. It also passed the inspection of Gansu Provincial Technical Supervision Bureau and was used by a number of units. As this project has successfully solved the “white pollution†that is of concern to the whole society, it can also generate huge economic benefits. It has been listed as a key environmental support project by the state.
The biggest feature of this new technology is that it does not require any waste plastic products, so it can directly produce high-quality oil products without sorting. The waste oil produced by this technology has a high oil yield, and the oil output of different types of plastic is slightly different, generally between 70% and 90%. Due to the use of the original new formula catalyst, all of the residue after production and processing can be used as industrial carbon black, avoiding the waste discharge, so no secondary pollution will occur in the production process.
An appraisal committee composed of experts from Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lanzhou University's Department of Chemistry, and Lanzhou University of Technology pointed out that this scientific research project using waste plastics to refine gasoline and diesel has environmental protection and energy conservation value, and produces No. 90 gasoline and No. 0 diesel meets national standards and is a high-quality energy source that can be directly used for production and living. What is more rare is that the production process of the coal-fired production line of the technology, such as the emission of flue gas, has met the requirements of the national environmental protection, and therefore has broad application prospects.
