HP "Ansett printing" technology FAQ

This paper describes HP's frequently asked questions about HP's "Ansett® printing" technology in response to HP's recent introduction of new technology:

Q: What is HP "Ansett® printing" technology?
· HP's unique "Ansett® printing" technology is a breakthrough and innovative printing technology designed for high-volume workloads. Printheads designed using HP's "Ansett® Print" technology can span the page, and each printhead has more nozzles that eject ink quickly and accurately as the paper moves. In other words, only the paper moves and the print head does not move, which allows for higher print speeds and excellent print quality.

Q: What is the significance of HP's "Ansett® printing" technology?
· At present, the new HP CM8060/CM8050 color digital all-in-one product adopting HP's "Ansett® printing" technology has already taken the lead in accessing the business document printing market to fully meet the demand for high-volume office printing and to bring you even better results. Reliability, low operating costs, and sharp text, sharp graphics, realistic images, and faster print speeds. 3

Q: In which areas will the "Ansett® printing" technology apply?
· Because HP's "Ansett® printing" technology has a wide range of uses to meet the different needs of customers, it will initially be used in high-volume printing applications, such as high-volume office printing, followed by retail photo printing, Industrial printing and other fields.

Q: When will it be listed?
· In the spring of 2007, HP plans to use this patented technology to reinterpret commercial printing. The same device can simultaneously combine the advantages of two major inkjet and laser printing technologies to achieve faster printing speed and better performance. Text and graphics print quality, lower single-page costs, HP's world-class reliability, and more HP's advantages of the Ansico® printing technology.

Q: Will the excellent speed and affordability of HP's "Ansett® printing" technology impact on similar laser printing technologies?
· HP “Ansett® Printing” technology is an excellent alternative to laser printing. Print equipment using this technology can provide outstanding performance - some products print at speeds up to 71 pages/minute! HP Vivera inks and large printheads with 10,560 nozzles give you exceptional print quality and very precise ink ejection. In addition, these devices can provide superior reliability1 and brilliant long-lasting documents at a low single-page cost. In short, HP's "Ansett® printing" technology complements and enhances the HP family of products, providing performance that is superior to that of the Color LaserJet 9500MFP color MFP, allowing HP to provide more flexibility to corporate customers. Excellent service.

Q: Do the printing devices that use HP's Ansig Printing technology require high operating costs?
· No need. Print equipment using HP's Ansico's printing technology can reduce overall operating costs during color printing. The technology is designed to provide faster printing speeds and higher productivity. In addition, HP's "Ansett® Print" technology's advanced printhead design improves printer reliability and printing efficiency, reduces printhead maintenance requirements, dramatically reduces maintenance costs, and lowers overall operating costs.

Summary: 1 The results obtained in comparison with departmental color laser multifunction products in office printing. The results are based on independent third-party data, HP testing, and internal reviews of competing products. Test methods for different types of products may vary. As of August 2006.

2 The results obtained in comparison with departmental color laser multifunction products in office printing. The operating costs are based on the manufacturer's published pricing (as of August 2006), which includes the monthly service unit price, parts maintenance and consumables costs (excluding printing paper). The HP office printing cost is based on the expected ink price and the initial print.

3 Comparison results with departmental color digital all-in-ones worth less than $22,000. The test method is not the same.
