Contiroll HS High Speed ​​Body Labeler Super Power

The newly designed Contiroll high-speed body labeler can process 67,500 containers per hour, making all previous labelers dwarf. Therefore, the future high-power filling equipment requires only one set of Contiroll to meet all the filling demand power, that is, the second Contiroll unit is no longer needed.

High speed labeling brings new drive designs for film label trays and cutters. Thin film label trays, also known as supporters for supporting film label reels, are instead driven by servo drives to replace the currently widely used eddy current brakes. The servo drive can immediately start the machine and shorten the delay time for the label to be unrolled. The newly developed cutting machine also uses its own servo motor to drive.

Contiroll's new reel magazine

Krones has designed a new reel magazine for the ring-type labeling of the Contiroll labeler, which can accommodate up to 8 reels. Therefore, depending on the power level of the machine or the length of the label, Contiroll can even operate on its own for 8 hours in one shift without the intervention of the operator. Therefore, the ring-type labeling now has the advantages of automatic operation of the wet glue labeling machine, which significantly reduces the burden on the operator.

Single module with new self-adhering standard unit

Krones's modular labeling design meets the high flexibility required by the filling industry. The single modular labeler on display can be used for both self-adhesive cold glue compound labelling and hot glue labelling. The machine is composed of individual component groups combined by a combination system. According to the Plug & Label principle, the self-adhesive and cold glue or hot glue labeling unit can be easily exchanged. At the same time, when the small bottle table is operated, the conversion time is significantly shortened, the replacement of the tool set is much easier, and the maintenance cost is naturally reduced.

The single module at Emballage was assembled with the new self-adhesive standard unit APS 3 unit with an automated reel gluing system. The APS 3 unit is Krones' latest high-power labeling unit designed for self-adhesion. Fast, accurate labeling, easy operation, and easy unit replacement. After further research and development, this unit can now provide a pre-placed label reel with automatic paste, eliminating the power loss caused by replacing the reel.

The end result is a streamlined set-up of the entire machine, since each label now requires only one labeler and no longer requires two labelers at a time like the automatic replacement. The Autocol APS 3 automatic paste labeling unit can of course also be retrofitted on Autocol self-adhesive labelling machines or modular machines.

Label detection

Whether the label position is perfect is related to the packaging quality of the product. There are a total of four cameras on the Krones Checkmat 731 label inspection machine, two of which are used to detect the correct position of the label on the container. The other two are to check if the label on the container is the same as originally set. The inspection item also includes barcodes for the back label and the bottleneck label. Metalized, reflective labels must use special lighting to verify the location of the label, the bar code, and whether the label is affixed.
