Three problems that bottles should solve

The new bottle program should focus on answering the following three questions to pursue their own perfection
1. How can a bottle that does not satisfactorily protect the contents be improved without increasing the cost?
2. For a bottle with a very satisfactory performance, how can it reduce its cost without reducing its performance characteristics?
3. How can a new product that has never entered the market without a bottle receive the most economical bottle?
In finding new packaging solutions, the biggest problem encountered by developing countries is the lack of technical and commercial intelligence and knowledge. It is necessary to take effective measures on these issues. The development trend of the circulation system in industrialized countries is more and more concerned with the continuous increase in labor costs.
In Europe, the total cost of circulation accounts for 60% of the retail price of the product. The United States is no lower than this figure. This contrasts with the fact that it is not difficult to understand why the developed countries must concentrate on reducing manpower, speeding up handling, and rationalizing the management of supermarkets. Of course, the most important thing for us is to make packaging adapt to these requirements.
Now, in more advanced industrialized countries, about 80% of food and other large consumer goods are circulated through supermarket self-service. Most other distribution channels, such as department stores, are also working to reduce labor costs through self-service. Even in the non-advanced market, such circulation systems that place special demands on packaging are rapidly increasing.
Therefore, most products will have to be pre-packaged to meet the needs of the distribution system. Consumers are becoming more experienced and more active in protecting their own interests. This means that they will be more concerned about the composition of new products and products, raw materials and related conditions, shorter working hours and more free time, and more and more housewives participating in the work will make the activities of all members of the family more effective. Uniqueness, thus making convenience foods widely used. In this case, microwave ovens will become more and more popular, and small packages that can be baked in microwave ovens are becoming more and more important.
In the population, the increase in the proportion of the elderly and the decrease in the average household population will encourage the use of smaller packages, and on the other hand, some packages will tend to increase in size due to economic considerations. It is difficult to predict what kind of changes will occur in the design of decoration for sales purposes. However, the use of powerful brand names seems to have become a trend. Including large supermarket systems like to use their own trademarks. Legislation that maintains fair-trade activity and mandatory labeling regulations can seriously affect mounting design, so that designers find themselves unable to creatively represent the product.
In the European market, the simplification of packaging design has become a typical phenomenon. In North America, this phenomenon seems to be more common. The following will be based on packaging materials and methods to describe their development trends.
(1) Metal packaging Tin-free steel plates (tvs) are increasingly being used as raw materials for metal cans. The side seams of the can body are welded or bonded.
Two aluminum cans are giving way to cans because of price and performance, but they still retain their status in canned fish and special shaped flat cans. It usually depends on the economics of raw materials in a particular market.
Flexible cooking bags, polypropylene-based plastic cans and composite cardboard cans are increasingly becoming alternatives to metal cans.
Metal cans pressed into corrugated ribs are increasing. Because, better strength can be obtained with the same or less material. Today's metal cans are approximately 30% lighter than the 1970 metal cans.
Can open-end cans are becoming more popular, especially with no new structures that can be thrown away.
Aluminum foil is widely used as an integral part of flexible packaging materials. But it is also threatened by vacuum aluminum film.
Spray can manufacturers are replacing fluorocarbon propellants with other, safer gases. Spraying methods using a mechanical pump structure have also become increasingly popular as a substitute for spray packaging.
(2) Glass Packaging Contrary to common belief, glass will continue to be a very lively packaging material. Especially in developing countries.
Research and development projects such as lightweighting glass containers and increasing strength and preventing scratches through various surface treatments have been basically completed.
Future research will mainly focus on the energy saving of glass production.
In some developed countries, recyclable glass packaging is more encouraged by the government than non-returnable glass packaging.
For some products, the jar structure is used more and more because of its high strength, space saving and consumer convenience.
(3) Plastic packaging reviews by material type:
Polyethylene (pe) will continue to be the main plastic for packaging, although it is threatened by the development of polypropylene.
High-density polyethylene (PE) will be developed and will replace some applications of paper.
Polypropylene (pp), especially stretched polypropylene (opp), will develop at the fastest rate. The regenerated cellulose film (celluloid) will be replaced by opp.
New grade polyvinyl chloride (PVC) has overcome most of the problems associated with toxicity. Now, sales have risen rapidly again.
