Daily developer use and maintenance

1. Clean regularly, fill with fresh developer, and perform maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer; all nozzles/tubes, brushes, and rollers should be cleaned frequently and replaced if necessary (the pressure should be checked regularly). If necessary, clean the rollers with water and fresh developer.
2. Always check and replace the filter according to the manufacturer's recommendations. "Filters are the same" is a misconception that the recommended filter should be used for each machine.
Lubricate according to manufacturer's recommendations.
Keep developer inside the developer, dryer temperature, and force according to manufacturer's recommendations; use a thermometer to determine temperature. The speed of the developer must match that of the plate and developer used.
Check daily liquid supplements.
3. Check roll tension: Run plates of different thickness and evaluate performance and results.
4. Inspect the guide rollers and gearbox for wear or excessive operation.
5. Check whether the shaft coupling and the roller coupling are in a straight line.
6. Check the linear arrangement and tension of the drive chain.
7. Check attachments and fasteners in any accessible place.
Maintain proper pressure adjustment of the brush to obtain a better cleaning effect for a particular printing plate and provide even pressure along the entire length of the brush. Use a spring balance to ensure proper adjustment.
8. Store the unexposed plate in a low-temperature, dry, non-light environment. The first production plate should be used first. Dispose of plates under safe light sources recommended by the manufacturer. Chemicals should be stored at room temperature.
9. Maintain developer temperature and activity in the developer according to the manufacturer's recommendations. The speed of the developer must be corrected according to the plate and developer used.
10. Check daily liquid supply rate.
When you encounter a problem with the plate processor and look for technical support, please have the following information ready:
Plates and chemicals used; evidence of plates (not to be damaged);
Development time (actually, not on the dial);
Development temperature (actually, not on the dial) - Use a thermometer to measure the temperature of all developments;
The temperature of the glue (actually, not on the dial);
Dryer temperature (actually, not on the dial);
If a control bar is used, record its value;
The brand, model and size of the developer used;
a printed copy of the problem;
Plate label number, for example: 00012
