Application of Bar Code in Detecting Missing Strips of Tobacco Box
In the past, before the finished product was packaged and sealed, the factory had to manually check whether there was a lack of cigarettes in the cigarette box before entering or leaving the warehouse. This method can only be judged by experience. It is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and the effect is poor. Some of the missing finished tobacco boxes will inevitably flow into the market, causing adverse effects on the company. In order to solve this problem, the factory introduced the detection and elimination device for the missing bars of cigarettes from Korea. This equipment adopts the dynamic weighing detection principle to dynamically weigh the finished cigarette cases to detect whether there are missing bars in the cigarette cases and reject the missing cigarette cases. In order to improve the detection accuracy, the system is equipped with bar code scanning equipment to identify products of different brands and different specifications.
In the packaging process of finished cigarettes, the factory used four different packing machines, namely B1 machine, Compas machine, GD machine and FOCKE machine. Due to the different cutting methods of the packaging strips, the weight of the finished product cigarettes with the same brand and specifications is inconsistent. The one finished product cigarette box produced by the B1 model has the same weight as the finished product cigarette produced by the Compas model; the same problem exists for the GD machine and the FOCKE machine. In this way, the smoke box missing strip detection and rejection device system loses its due effect. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to identify which type of cigarette box is packaged before the weighing. In order to achieve this goal, the factory applied a trading unit 128 barcode. In different packaging machines with the same brand, the same size of cigarette packaging boxes, respectively using different trading unit 128 barcodes, so that different models of the same brand, the same specifications of finished tobacco can be distinguished. For example: B1 models produced 9100; Compas models produced 9200; FOCKE models produced 9300; GD models produced 9400. In this way, the detecting and rejecting device of cigarette box missing bars can accurately detect the missing bars according to the reference weights corresponding to cigarettes of different brands and different specifications produced by different models, and solves the problem of fluctuations in the weight of cigarettes, different specifications of packaging materials, etc. Brings the detection problem.
Application of Bar Code in Tobacco Automatic Batching
The plant will also apply bar code technology to the management of tobacco leaves, use different bar codes (internal codes) for different grades of tobacco leaves, and transport plywood smoke. Application of Bar Codes in Stacking and Automatic Sorting System
In the cigarette stacking and automatic sorting process, the plant uses the ITF-14 barcode or EAN-13 barcode for the stacking and automatic sorting system of cigarette packets. The finished product cigarettes are taken down from the production line and collected on a transportation line. After being identified by barcode scanners, they are counted separately, and the production status is automatically registered. Then, the cigarettes of different brands and specifications are sent to the designated positions after grabbing by robots. Automatic sorting, transportation, stacking, and automatic storage are all implemented and the entire process is automatically completed.
Outbound management
In the automatic warehouse system, when the goods are dispatched to and from the warehouse, only the transport vehicles need to enter the designated location, and then the bar code information of the transported products is input into the computer. The barcode scanning identifier in the logistics automation system will automatically identify which brand smoke. According to the instructions entered by the central control room, the goods are automatically delivered to and taken out of the warehouse by robots and counted automatically. If the brand's cigarette is to be shipped, the cigarette box will be dialed into the corresponding loading line; if it needs to be stored, it will be dialed into the corresponding automatic tray machine and stored in the transport system.
Thanks to the successful use of bar code technology in various aspects of automated production management, the company has greatly improved the efficiency of its work and greatly saved manpower, material resources and financial resources. The original packaging, finished goods, and warehousing need about 40 people per shift. Now that the logistics automation system is in use, only a few people can complete each shift.
