The figure below illustrates the problem with the title. The debris wipes off the starch on the top roller. The debris may be scraps of paper, starch fragments, or other foreign materials. The result is easy to predict, and the carton compressive strength is very low. The outer surface of the carton shows signs of delamination between the tissue and the core paper.
