The formulation of Fujian local standard DB35/343—1999 “Degradable polyethylene film and packaging bags†has effectively promoted the “white pollution†of plastics, and promoted the use of degradable plastic packaging materials in urban areas of Fujian Province. DB35/343 “Degradable polyethylene film, packaging bag†The verification and promotion of local standards in Fujian Province has been reported by many magazines such as “Degradable Plastics Newsletter†and “Plastic Processingâ€, leading to many domestic cities and research and testing departments. The standard has become the technical guarantee for the promotion of degradable plastics in various cities in Fujian Province and helps companies to convert degradable plastics, and provides technical support for the quality of degradable plastics. DB35/343 - 1999 "Degradable polyethylene film, packaging bags" local standards in Fujian Province took the lead in defining "photodegradable infusible plastics" as the fourth degradable plastic, and applied for a patent for invention from Fujian Normal University. For the new varieties, in order to better evaluate the technical indicators of the new varieties of “photodegradable burnable plastics†and promote their application, this paper will summarize the verification and technology promotion research work carried out in this product in recent years.
1 Experimental section
1.1 Degradable plastic natural soil buried pit test
The “degraded plastic natural soil burial pit†was established, and the evaluation and verification of the “experimental method for natural soil burying and composting of degradable plastics†was scientific, and scientifically demonstrated the degradation effects of existing degradable plastics and the causes of the degradation effects. Biodegradable plastics with degradable plastics specifications were subjected to natural soil burial tests.
1.2 Artificial accelerated aging test "High-pressure mercury lamp aging test device"
Established a "photodegradation high-pressure mercury lamp aging test device" (light: 4 450W, lamp and film distance: 40cm, temperature: 65°C ± 5°C), and carried out photodegradation of plastic high-pressure mercury lamp aging effect research, as scientific research Formula screening, internal control of photodegradation effect of the experimental means, and compared with the xenon lamp aging experiment.
1.3 Biodegradation laboratory sites
The biodegradability test was conducted according to the standard operating method of the United States standard ASTM G21 for testing synthetic polymer materials against fungi, and compared with the arbitration method.
1.4 Outdoor exposure test
The selected film sample was fixed on the frame, placed on the outdoor rooftop platform and exposed, the sample face up, tilted 45 °, Fuzhou area, July-December, and compared with the artificial accelerated aging experiment to study the artificial acceleration The relationship with natural exposure.
1.5 Xenon lamp light source exposure test
According to the requirements of the National Environmental Protection Agency HJBZ12-2000 packaging product standard, the GB/T9344-1988 plastic xenon lamp light source exposure test method was used, and then the elongation at break was measured according to GB13022. It is an arbitration testing method for the photodegradation performance of thin films.
The experimental conditions are:
(1) Photodegradation test conditions:
a. Blackboard temperature is 63±3°C;
b. Relative humidity is 65% ± 5%;
c. The water spray period is 18min/102min (water spray time/non-water spray time).
(2) The photodegradation test time was 120 hr.
Using the above experimental methods, experiments were carried out on different degradable materials. The degradation effects of the degraded materials were studied by infrared spectrometer, ultraviolet spectrometer, liquid chromatograph, thermogravimetry-differential thermal analyzer, and the reasons were analyzed to form a more complete “degradationâ€. Experimental base". It provides guarantees for the quality of degradable materials produced by enterprises, creates favorable conditions for scientific research, and provides research and testing methods for the stability and degradation of related materials.
