Latest technology for rust-proof packaging
Rust-proof packaging, that is, the use of appropriate anti-rust materials and packaging methods for metal products (hereinafter referred to as products), to prevent the occurrence of rust during storage and transportation of technical processing.
â— Procedures for rust-proof packaging technology
The main contents of the anti-rust packaging technology (or according to the process process) include four parts: cleaning technology, drying technology, application of rust inhibitor technology and packaging technology.
â— Cleaning technology
The purpose of cleaning is to wash dirt, sweat, dust and other dirt on the surface of the product to make its surface meet the cleanliness standards stipulated by relevant quality standards.
The determination of cleaning agents and cleaning methods is related to the material, shape, size, surface condition and quality requirements of the products to be cleaned, and also to their adaptability to each other.
â— Drying technology
Which drying method to use depends on the cleaning situation. All water-based metal cleaning agents and emulsions must be dried. Special attention should be paid to the removal of water in blind holes and crevices. Otherwise, it will be a potential cause of corrosion.
â—Application of rust inhibitor technology
Anti-rust material: This is the most important part of rust-proof packaging technology. Common anti-rust oil, vapor anti-rust material, water-based rust inhibitor.
(1) There are many types of rust-preventive greases, which are developed to meet the actual needs of different rust-proofing periods, materials, methods, and storage conditions.
The oiling quality is extremely important, and the oil film should be uniform, continuous and leak-free. If you need to heat the oil and grease, the heating should not be too fast and the oil temperature should not exceed 88 °C.
(2) Vapor-phase anti-rust materials can be divided into three categories: vapor-phase anti-rust paper, vapor-phase rust-proof (plastic) film and vapor phase rust inhibitor.
VCI paper: China vapour antirust paper industry standards QB1319 and JB/T4051.1 are divided into steel applicable type and multi-metal applicable type. Anti-rust paper contains vapor-phase rust inhibitor. In order to prevent the rust-proof agent from overflowing and increase the sealing and physical strength of the packaged product, one layer of PE film or composite multilayer film is laminated on one side of the paper.
There are two methods for producing the vapour phase anti-rust film. One is to mix the vapour phase anti-rust agent with the viscose and apply it on the plastic film substrate. The product manufactured by this method has a poor appearance. The second is to make the masterbatch with the vapor phase anti-rust agent and the film making raw materials and auxiliary materials, and then mix with the film masterbatch, and melt, co-extrude, and blow-mold a double or multi-layer film by the plastic film processing machine. The inner film contains a vapor-phase rust inhibitor, and the outer film prevents the vapor rust inhibitor from overflowing, and increases the physical strength of the film and reduces its air permeability and moisture permeability. The use of vapour phase rust-proof film has the advantages of beautiful packaging, transparency, good anti-rust effect, and saving packaging procedures.
The use of vapor phase anti-rust material is correct and determines its anti-rust effect. The length of the rust-proof period is also proportional to the degree of sealing of the package. This point is particularly important, it should be read in advance GB/T14188-93 "vapor phase rust-proof packaging materials use general rules", the standard for how to select, use, operation, storage, testing, etc. have a more detailed description.
(3) Water-based rust inhibitors are prepared using water as the base material, adding water-soluble rust inhibitors, film formers, preservatives, auxiliaries, and the like. In some cases, an oil-soluble rust inhibitor is emulsified by using a surfactant that is both a rust inhibitor and an emulsifier. Therefore, anti-rust oil diluted with water can also be included in this category.
As far as the current situation is concerned, the anti-rust effect of water-based rust inhibitors is not as good as that of anti-rust oils. It is usually used for short-term storage of rust-proofing between processes. The use of water-based rust inhibitors includes soaking, dipping, brushing, and spraying.
â— Packaging Technology
In metal packaging, the inner packaging is also called rust-proof packaging, and the outer packaging is also called transportation packaging. They are inseparable components.
The quality of the materials used in the inner packaging shall comply with the requirements of GB/T12339-1990 "Protective Inner Packaging Materials". According to the requirements of the actual application of the various parts of the package packaging materials should be noted that the package is to take fixed measures. When the vapor phase rust prevention material is applied, the vapor phase rust prevention paper or vapor phase rust prevention film is welded or stuck into a sealed state. For the use of vapor phase rust inhibitor to make the sealing layer.
Outer packaging (large and medium-sized products) is to create necessary conditions for the lifting, transportation and storage of packages; to prevent rain rushing; to protect rust inhibitors and inner packages from being damaged, so as to ensure the overall rust-proof effect of the package.
