Ink production explosion source

The ink is mainly composed of a homogeneous mixture of colored bodies (pigments) and connecting (junction) materials, fillers, and additives.

1. The basic process of ink manufacturing

2. Ink source of explosion

According to the type and nature of the ink, its main sources of explosion are classified as solvent ink production, phthalocyanine blue pigment production, and solvent-based binder production.

1 Solvent ink production refers to the production of printing inks based on solvent evaporation and drying in the production of inks. In the process of adding solvent, feeding, and mixing, there is a certain explosion risk due to temperature and open flame.

2 The production of phthalocyanine blue pigments is the production of crude phthalocyanine blue products by the solvent method. Due to the flammable, explosive and solvent-containing solvents, if there is an abnormality, there is a risk of explosion due to solvent spillage or fire exposure.

3 Solvent-based binders are produced by stirring the solid resin and the solvent to obtain the binder. When the solvent is heated, the equipment is damaged or the temperature is not properly controlled. The xylene runs back at the time of reflux, and there is danger of explosion in case of open flame.
