Nowadays, the ATM anti-theft card has also become a necessary monitoring device for ATM monitoring. Due to the many manufacturers and models of ATM machines and the different shapes, it is difficult for ordinary cardholders to distinguish the appearance of the normal card slot and the abnormal card slot The difference is that it often falls into the traps laid by criminals, which leads to a large number of cases. The installation of a side-tracking piracy code device at the slot of the ATM machine has become the most common form of crime on ATM machines. Although most of the ATMs are currently equipped with video surveillance systems, these single video surveillance systems can generally only be used for evidence collection after the incident, which is not obvious for timely warning and crime prevention. Faced with the complicated card environment for ATMs, the video surveillance system is severely constrained by the inherent defects of the video itself, and the inability to provide timely and effective early warning and prevention capabilities is also an important factor for frequent crimes on the ATM.
The most basic function of the security system is to detect and stop crimes in time, but facts have repeatedly proved that a single ATM video surveillance system has been unable to effectively curb the crazy bank card crimes on the ATM machine. The current form has urgently required the ATM security field to transform from the traditional passive defensive type to the active positive defensive direction.
Second, the program selection
ATM machines and other self-service devices can use a variety of technical means to detect the presence of foreign objects (such as side recorders, code stolen devices, etc.) around the card readers of the self-service devices. The advantages and disadvantages of different methods are summarized as follows:
1. Light judgment: use the reflection principle of infrared light to open some light-transmitting holes around the card reader on the ATM machine, and emit infrared light from the inside of the self-service device through the light hole, when the criminal suspect is installed on the card reader For other devices, part of the light-transmitting holes will be blocked, and it can be determined that there is illegal installation of equipment.
The disadvantage of this method is that it is necessary to punch holes in the ATM machine and destroy the original structure of the ATM machine. In addition, if there are foreign objects (dust, etc.) blocking the light hole or the ambient light changes, false alarms will occur, and the false alarm rate is very high; if the card stolen device bypasses the light hole during installation, false alarms will occur. .
Therefore, this solution is not highly feasible in actual use.
2. Electromagnetic field judgment: use the magnetic field strength sensor or electromagnetic field strength sensing equipment to detect the change of electricity and magnetic field around the ATM machine card reader and compare it with the normal situation. If there is electricity or magnetic field abnormality, it is determined that there is a card theft.
This method belongs to the short-range detection technology, and it is also necessary to drill holes in the ATM machine to change the original structure of the ATM machine. If the ATM machine is a metal shell, the detection equipment must be external, which itself becomes a hidden safety hazard; in addition, in principle As long as there are objects that can change the strength of the magnetic field around, it will be falsely reported. If the detection sensitivity is lowered, it will be missed, and the sensitivity adjustment scale is difficult to grasp.
3. Analyze the image of the ATM machine card reader using image processing technology to find out the characteristics, compare it with the original card reader image, if there is any abnormality, it is determined that there is a stolen device.
This method is sensitive to the illumination of the environment, and has high requirements for image clarity. Once it cannot be met, it will bring a high false alarm rate; of course, its biggest disadvantage is that it has no anti-counterfeiting function. If the installed card thief appearance and color Similar to the original card reader, it cannot be distinguished from the video image, resulting in serious underreporting.
Since the current surveillance camera video has the inherent characteristics of a planar image, it is difficult to solve the identification problem of the camouflage side recording device using planar image analysis. The actual use effect is also very unsatisfactory.
