Elm, also written as "椐木" or "椇木". Produced in the south of China, the north does not know this name, and the wood is called Nanxun. Alder is a genus of deciduous trees with a height of up to 25 meters. Bark is hard, taupe, with coarse wrinkles and small protrusions; branches are thin, leaves alternate, arranged in two rows, elliptic-ovate, single serrate, pinnately veined, hairy, petiolate very short. Spring is a light yellow flower, unisexual, monoecious. Small fruit after flowering, slightly triangular. This wood is firm and has a beautiful texture for construction and utensils. According to "Chinese Tree Taxonomy": "The eucalyptus is produced in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and it is a big leaf eucalyptus, alias '榉榆' or '大叶榆'. The wood is firm, the color is beautiful, and the use is very wide and quite valuable. Its age is old and the wood is red, the name is 'bloody'." Some eucalyptus has a natural beautiful large pattern, the color is similar to rosewood. It is used for shipbuilding, construction, bridges, etc.

At present, most of the coffins sold in the domestic timber market are imported, and the production areas are Europe and North America. The wood properties are stable and belong to medium and high-grade furniture materials.
