How to use ZC-8 grounding resistance measuring instrument
How to use ground resistance measuring instrument
The grounding resistance refers to the resistance of the grounding body buried in the ground and the resistance of soil bulk current, which is usually measured by a ZC type grounding resistance measuring instrument (or grounding resistance shaker). The appearance of the ZC-8 type measuring instrument is similar to that of an ordinary insulated shaker, which is also called ground resistance shaker according to the habit. The shape and structure of the ZC type shaker varies slightly with different models, but the method of use is basically the same. The structure of the ZC-8 grounding resistance measuring instrument is shown in Figure 20. The measuring instrument is also provided with two grounding probes and three wires. Use method and measurement steps are as follows
ZC-8 grounding resistance shake meter to measure grounding resistance
1. Disconnect the connection point between the grounding trunk and the grounding body, or disconnect the connection points of all grounding branches on the grounding trunk.
2. Insert two ground rods into the ground 400mm deep, one is 40m away from the ground body and the other is 20m away from the ground body.
3. Place the shaker in a flat place near the grounding body, and then connect the wires.
(1) Use a connecting wire to connect the terminal E on the meter and the grounding body E 'of the grounding device.
(2) Use a connecting wire to connect the terminal post C on the meter and the ground rod C '40m away from the ground body.
(3) Use a connecting wire to connect the terminal P on the meter and the ground rod P '20m away from the ground body.
4. According to the grounding resistance requirement of the grounding body under test, adjust the coarse adjustment knob (there are three adjustable ranges).
5. Shake the watch evenly at a speed of about 120 rpm. When the hands are deflected, adjust the fine adjustment dial until the hands are centered. The reading after adjusting with the fine-tuning dial is multiplied by the positioning multiple of coarse adjustment, which is the grounding resistance of the ground body under test. For example, the fine adjustment reading is 0.6, and the coarse adjustment resistance positioning multiple is 10, then the measured ground resistance is 6Ω.
6. In order to ensure the reliability of the measured grounding resistance value, the orientation should be changed and the re-testing should be carried out. Take the average of several measured values as the grounding resistance of the grounding body.
