Web labeling machines are designed for making thick ink labels. The working principle of the screen printing mechanism is the same as the ordinary plane screen printing machine. At present, the most common model in China is the S-screen printer produced by Japan’s Chiba Corporation. The machine can use either solvent ink or ink. The biggest feature is that the paper feeding traction roller uses vacuum negative pressure feeding. The advantages of vacuum negative pressure suction paper are: First, the surface of the printed roll material is not in contact with any pressure roller, thus increasing the printing area. Secondly, under the action of vacuum negative pressure, the web is in close contact with the drum and moves forward with the rotation of the drum without any relative slippage, ensuring the accuracy of paper feeding and the accuracy of overprinting.

The application of web-fed silk-screen self-adhesive label printers is not universal.
