Photoshop Convenience Tips (1-27)
Photoshop is almost the most commonly used software for our daily life and for prepress production. Because of the work relationship, Photoshop is the software that we must use every day, and we have constantly explored some experiences and tips from practice. It is introduced to everyone, hoping to inspire readers.
1. When you want to change the distance between two characters, place the cursor between the two characters. Use alt+lift or alt+right to change the distance between the two characters. When you want to change the character spacing of several characters, just use the left and right arrow keys while holding down ctrl and alt. You can change the character spacing.
2, use the shortcut key to quickly browse the big picture: home, scroll to the upper left corner of the picture; end, scroll to the lower right corner of the picture; pageup, scroll to the top of the image; pagedown, scroll to the image of the most Below; ctrl+pageup, scroll to the very left of the picture; ctrl plus pagedown, scroll to the far right of the image.
3, want to move the current layer up, use ctrl +], you can put a layer on the current layer; press Ctrl + [, you can move the current layer down.
4, a color image into a gray image, there are two ways to achieve, one is the RGB mode directly into gray, one is to convert RGB to LAB, then throw away A, B channel, Only the luminance channel is preserved; practice has shown that the latter performs more delicately on the darker portion of the image, and less loss of image darkness information.
5. When it is necessary to adjust the gradation or contrast of the image, the image of only the independent layer is first converted into a 16-bit channel, and then the adjustment is performed. After the adjustment is completed, the image is converted back to the 8-bit channel so that the image can be captured. The loss of information is minimized, and the effect obtained is much better than direct adjustment.
6. When you are ready to pull out a pattern that is complex or has a very messy background, consider using the filter to extract it. Setting the closed image, filling, and response in the dialog box will make the output pattern very accurate. After the determination, using the history tool to make appropriate adjustments, you will get a very ideal independent map. This method can even help. We pulled out a fluffy kitten in the grass.
7. To use the newly used filter again, select Filter → Last Filter [Ctrl+F] from the menu; use the new option to use the newly used filter and remember to add an Alt key (Ctrl+Alt+F or Alt + Filter → Last Filter ).
Tip: To retire the last used filter or adjust the effect (or change the compositing mode), press Ctrl+Shift+F (Filter → Fade Filter... ).
8. If you recently copied a picture in the clipboard, Photoshop will use the size of the picture in the clipboard as the default size of the new image when creating a new file [Ctrl+N] (File → New...). To skip this feature and use the previous settings, hold down the Alt key [Ctrl+Alt+N] (Alt + File →New...) when it is open.
9. Press Ctrl+Alt+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z to go back and forth respectively in the history (or use the menus in the history panel to use these commands). Use these hot keys in conjunction with the restore [Ctrl+Z] (Edit → Undo) command to freely switch between history and current state.
10, Alt + Backspace and Ctrl + Backspace key combinations fill the foreground and background colors, another very useful hotkey is Shift + Backspace - Open Fill dialog box.
Tip: Press Alt+Shift+Backspace and Ctrl+Shift+Backspace to fill only the existing pixels (keeping the transparent area) when filling the foreground and background colors.
11. Use the Alt key (Ctrl+Alt+T or Alt + Edit → Free Transform) to copy the original layer (in the current selection) while using the free transform tool [Ctrl+T] (Edit → Free Transform). After the transformation layer is transformed.
Tip: Ctrl + Shift + T (Edit → Transform → Again) to perform the last conversion again, Ctrl + Alt + Shift + T (Alt + Edit → Transform → Again) for the original copy and then perform the transformation.
12, to prevent the use of cutting tools [C] (Crop Tool) when the box is adsorbed on the picture border, hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the control point on the cutting tool box.
13. To correct a tilted image, first use the measurement tool [U] to draw a line (like the border of the image, the frame, the horizontal lines between the eyes, etc.) on the map as a horizontal or vertical reference, and then from the menu Select Image → Rotate Canvas → Arbitrary. After opening, you will find that the correct rotation angle has been filled in automatically. Just press OK to confirm.
Note: You can also use the cutting tool to complete the rotation and cutting in one step: first draw a box with the cutting tool [C], drag the control point on the selection box to adjust the angle and size of the selection box, and finally press Enter to rotate and cut.
Tip: The angle measured by the measurement tool is also automatically entered in the Digit transform tool (Edt → Transform → Numeric) dialog box.
14. Using the "Layer → New → Layer Via Copy" or "Layer → New (Layer Via Cut)" command can be performed in one step Finish the work of copy & paste and cut & paste.
Note: By copying (cutting) new layer commands, they are still placed in their original places, but they are pasted (cut) & pasted to the center of the picture (or selection).
15. After cropping the image (using the cropping tool or selecting Edit → Crop), all the pixels outside the cropping range are lost. To cut without loss, use the "Image → Canvas Size" command instead. Although Photoshop will warn you that you will perform some cuts, but for some reason in fact does not - all "cut out" of data are kept outside the screen.
Tip: ImageReady's cut command (Image → Crop) asks whether to delete the clipping area or hide it.
Note: This has no effect on the index color mode (using the canvas size command in index mode will lose pixels outside the screen).
16. Press Alt key [Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E] (Alt + Layer → Merge Visible) to merge all visible layers and merge them into the current layer.
Tip: It is also possible to hold down the Alt key while merging layers (Layer → Merge Down). This will copy the current layer and merge it into the previous layer. There is no corresponding hotkey for this command - Ctrl+Alt+E does not work.
17. When using the marquee tool [M] (Marquee Tools), hold down the Shift key to draw a square and a round selection; hold down the Alt key to center the selection from the starting point.
18. Use the "Reselect" command [Ctrl+Shift+D] (selec → Reselec) to load/restore the previous selection.

20. Press the space bar while sketching the constituency to move the delineating constituency.
21. It is well known that holding down the Shift or Alt key can increase or trim the current selection, but do you know that pressing the Shift and Alt keys at the same time can select the intersecting parts of the two selections?
Tip: Hold down the Ctrl key to click on the layer's icon (on the slice board) to load its transparent channel, and hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift to click on the area where the other layer intersects the transparent channels that select the two layers.
22. Switch to quick mask mode [Q] before zooming or copying pictures to preserve the original selection.
23. Hold down the Alt key while dragging the auxiliary line to switch between the horizontal auxiliary line and the vertical auxiliary line. Hold down the Alt key and click on an existing vertical guide to turn it into a horizontal guide and vice versa.
Note: The guides are created by dragging from the ruler, so make sure the ruler is open [Ctrl+R] (View → Show Rulers ).
24. Hold down the Shift key while dragging the guideline to force it to align to the scale on the scale.
25, double-click on the auxiliary line to open the auxiliary line & style parameter setting dialog [Ctrl+K, Ctrl+6] (File → Preferences → Guides & Grid... ).
