How to distinguish the test report of constant temperature and humidity test chamber
The calibration report and the verification report in the constant temperature and humidity test chamber are essentially different. The two can't be confused with each other before, but they can't be equal. Today, the author makes the following explanations on the differences between the two:
ISO/IEC Guide 25-1990 "General Requirements for the Technical Capabilities of Calibration and Inspection Laboratory" defines "certification" as:
The evidence is provided by verification to confirm compliance with the requirements (ISO 84O2/DADI—3.37, with additional comments added for the purposes of this guide).
Note:
1. In order to interface with the management of the measuring instrument, the purpose of the verification is to verify the deviation between the indication value of the measuring instrument and the corresponding known quantity, so that it is always smaller than the standard, procedure or specification for the management of the measuring instrument. The maximum allowable error specified.
2. A decision to continue using, investigating, repairing, downgrading, or declaring a meter based on the results of the verification. In any case, when the verification is completed, the verification shall be recorded on the special record of the measuring instrument.
The definition given by the International Metrology Organization for verification is:
A procedure for identifying and confirming the compliance of a measuring instrument with statutory requirements, which includes inspection, marking and/or issuing a certificate of verification. â€
ISO1OO12—1 “Quality Assurance Requirements for Measurement and Testing Equipment†standard defines “calibration†as:
A set of operations for determining the relationship between the indication of the meter or measurement system or the value represented by the physical gauge or standard substance and the corresponding measured known value under specified conditions.
Note:
1. Calibration results can be used to assess the indication error of a meter, measurement system or physical gauge, or to assign a value to a marker on any scale;
2. Calibration can also be used to determine other metering characteristics;
3. The calibration results can be recorded on a document sometimes called a calibration certificate or calibration report;
4 Sometimes the approval result is expressed as a correction value, calibration factor or calibration curve.
