This patent relates to biodegradable synthetic materials used to make plastic packaging. The weight ratio of raw materials is: starch 100, fatty acid ester 5-15, unsaturated fatty acid 0.5-1, polyethylene resin or polyvinyl chloride resin 8O-90. The starch has a water content of more than 1% and is dried with calcium oxide. The weight ratio of cassava starch and polystyrene resin was: cassava starch 100, fatty acid ester 8 to 10, unsaturated fatty acid 0.8 to 1.2, and polystyrene resin 800 to 1000. The manufacturing method consists of mixing, rolling, cooling and cutting processes. The material has degradability and physicochemical properties of the plastic, the product can be decomposed, environmental friendly, and the manufacturing method is simple.
