Material and characteristics of vacuum bag
Vacuum bag is a general term for flexible packaging composite film products. Depending on the temperature used, there will be many divisions: some need to be sterilized below 100 , some need to be sterilized at 100 degrees, and 121 degrees and 135 degrees. Of course, there is also room temperature, and the sterilization method that may be selected under such normal temperature conditions is irradiation sterilization. And the characteristics and weight of the contents to be packaged must also be considered to determine the reasonable use of the vacuum bag material. First, the chemical structure of PE vacuum bags and PP vacuum bags is different. PE , or polyethylene, is a polymer with a simple structure. It is formed by connecting repeating -CH2- units. Polyethylene is formed by the addition polymerization of ethylene. PP refers to polypropylene and is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic.
Second, the characteristics of PE vacuum bags and PP vacuum bags are different. Polyethylene is odorless, non-toxic, feels like wax, and has excellent low temperature resistance. The minimum operating temperature of PE vacuum bags can reach -70 ~ -100 ℃. Polyethylene has good chemical stability, can withstand the erosion of most acids and alkalis, is insoluble in common solvents at room temperature, has low water absorption, and has excellent electrical insulation properties, but polyethylene has poor heat aging resistance. Polypropylene has high impact resistance, strong mechanical properties, and can resist various organic solvents and acid-base corrosion
Among the above various material structures, the best material should contain PA , which is made of a composite film made of nylon and plastic. The vacuum bag of this material is relatively soft, it does not change its properties at low temperatures, it is more durable, and it has a soft feel and high tensile strength. Usually used to hold vegetables, cereals and snacks are very good, fresh and very clean and thick.
